Vespa Motorcycle Electronic wiring

This was inspired while searching for information on scooters on the web. I own two 1974 Vespa Rally 200 Electronic's, of which I have restored one, which you can see to the left, in midnight blue and white.

If you have any questions about the VSE1T model,email them to me. I have a complete wiring diagram for the battery models (I drew one up since the three that I had didn't match) which is somewhat difficult to come by, apparently. The only thing that I couldn't really discuss with you extensively is the clutch mechanism and some of the other internals. By the way, if you have one of these scooters - you must have a battery actually connected to the circuit for the lights to operate - it makes no sense but it's true. I worked on my electricals off and on for a week, testing everything with an ohm-meter and drawing-up a functional wiring diagram. Everything checked out, but my lights didn't work; I stuck a new battery in and everything was perfect, even the turn signals.
